My time is fading
Pieces are missing
Slowly
Slowly
Disappearing

My breath is shallow
My heartbeat uneven
Slowly
Slowly
Close to the ending

My eyes are closing
People are crying
Slowly
Slowly
Leaving too soon

My body is cold
My blood has stopped
Slowly
Slowly
Frozen in my veins

My smile remains
As I am lowered to my grave
Slowly
Slowly
My pieces of time
Are no more

Impossible

Lying face down
Nose touching the ground
Sweat sparkles
Tears trickle

Arms bruised
Pride broken
Cuts open
Love taken

Lonely and useless
Cruel and unjust
The world spinning
My life shattered

So weak
So tired
So effortless
So unfair

Trying reach
But failing hard
Trying to hold on
But falling down

Hearing whispers
Taunts and mockery
Sympathy, sorrow
And defeat

They say no
There's no way
They think I'll stay down
Defeating my crown

But they don't know
I am ready now
They say I can't
But I will

I will rise
And I will shine
And they will see
I am impossible

Scars healed
Promises unbroken
Truths told
There will be an end

They will try again
To bring me down
But they still don't know
So tell them

I will fly
My wings flapping away
No more lies
Tears sealed

They will see then
When I am the highest
There will be no more doubt
All left but hope

And I will rise
Like a shining star
I will be unstoppable
Because I am
Impossible
